Fr. Gregorios Estephan is the Abbott of Holy Dormition Orthodox Monastery in Bkeftine, Lebanon. He was born in Akkar, Lebanon and studied history and business administration before immigrating with his family to Canada. Upon returning to Lebanon, he received a degree in Theology from the University of Balamand in 2000. He then pursued a doctorate degree in Dogmatic Theology at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, under the supervision of Professor Demetrios Tselengidis. He then joined the monastic life in 2005 at the Archangel Michael Monastery in Bekaata, Lebanon. In 2015, he was tonsured a Deacon, Priest and Abbott within one week to serve as the Abbott of Holy Dormition Orthodox Monastery in Bkeftine, Lebanon. Fr. Gregorios has published several apologetic books on Priesthood, Evangelicals and Baptists, and the pillars of the Orthodox Faith. He is a regular contributor to the bulletin of the Archdiocese of Tripoli and Koura in the Patriarchate of Antioch. He is also the spiritual father of Saint Gregory Palamas Publications.
